Delete your account

UpShift Fit is run by Sydo IT Services Ltd. You can delete your account and your data at any time, in the app or on the web, and you don't need a reason.

In the app or on the web

Sign in at upshiftfit.com/app or open the UpShift Fit app.
Go to Profiles and open Delete account at the bottom of the page.
Enter your password and choose:
- Delete my account, if you share a household with someone else. Your sign-in and your own data are deleted, and the household carries on for them.
- Delete the whole household (household owner only), or Delete my account if you're the only person in it. Everything in the household is deleted, for everyone.

It happens straight away and can't be undone.

If you can't sign in

Use our contact form, say you want your account deleted, and give the email address you signed up with. We will email that address to confirm the request came from you, then delete the account within 30 days and tell you when it's done.

What is deleted

Your sign-in (email address and password hash), sessions, and any devices registered for reminders.
Your profile details: targets, goals, likes and dislikes, allergies and notes.
Your food log, meal photos, ratings and healthy remakes.
Readings received from Apple Health or Health Connect, the record of meals sent to them, and your Health link.
For a whole household: every plan, shopping list, meal-out record, holiday date and profile in it, and every sign-in.

What is kept, and for how long

Backups of the database are overwritten within 90 days.
Billing records, once subscriptions launch, are kept for 6 years because UK tax law requires it.
Data you wrote into Apple Health or Health Connect stays on your phone under your control. Delete it in the Health app (Browse → Nutrition) or in Health Connect.
If you share a household, your profile stays in its plans until someone removes it on the Profiles page, but it is no longer linked to you.
